SizzleFest 2022
For the second year in a row alongside the Sizzle team spearheaded by @BigNoseBBQ we took over SoCal BBQ Shop in Southampton to bring together a celebration of the BBQ community.
Across our four stages and numerous interactive exhibitors, SizzleFest was more engaging than ever before. With challenges throughout the day from brand favourites such as YETI, Traeger, Weber, Broil King, Bakoa and Gozney, there will be many chances to win a host of amazing prizes. You will also have the opportunity to book yourself onto a number of mini masterclasses to get in on the cooking action as well!
We had even more live music and DJ sets than we did at SizzleFest 2021, hosted across two stages. Over with YETI on The Tailgate Stage we have local heroes The Transitions playing everything from Cash to Clash. On the Traeger Main stage we have South Gilly’s legend, T-Bone Marmaduke, along with West Sussex’s My Heathen Family playing their hybrid folk country rock, ex-Iron Maiden and Cutting Crew rockstar Tony Moore, and the sensational Riccardi Brothers to close out in rock ‘n’ roll style.
In between bands our resident DJ Big Nose BBQ took us through the day keeping the crowds entertained.
As you’ll see in the recap video interview post SizzleFest, it’s a heck of a lot of work, but plans are already in place to bring it back in 2023!
